The content creator, known on Instagram as liana_jadee, had spent months reading the same question: why did she still look pregnant if her second child had already been born?
Instead of hiding, she filmed a video with her baby in her arms, a huge smile, and a shirt short enough to show her stomach just as it is, with skin marked by the changes of pregnancy.
The clip, which shows her 365 days after giving birth, turned the narrative on its head with a direct statement: “Sorry I don’t look like I haven’t given birth”.
Her point is simple and rarely seen on social media: not every body returns to its previous shape in a month, and photos of instant recovery are only part of the story.
The post racked up hundreds of thousands of interactions and thousands of comments from other mothers who finally felt represented. Liana talks about it with humor and without making a big deal of it: she’s happy with her body and wants everyone who sees her to make peace with their own.
