On October 5, the couple shared an emotional video on their social media showing the ultrasound of their first child. “The best news of our lives…”, they wrote over the images.
Álex lives with cerebral palsy, a condition that affects his mobility and is associated with a 76% physical disability. Even so, he has become a prominent endurance athlete and had previously spoken about his desire to become a father. Now, that dream is about to come true with Mari Carme, whom he married in 2022.
“The most beautiful adventure of our lives begins: we’re going to be parents”, they wrote. For now, they haven’t revealed the baby’s sex or the expected due date. ❤️
