A heated argument turned into a fight on line 4 of the Barcelona subway after a Catalonian woman began insulting foreigners. Everything got even more out of control when another young woman, apparently of Chilean nationality, responded to the aggressor’s horrible attitude, unleashing an all-out brawl.
“Silence me? You’ll go to jail before I keep quiet!”
After several minutes of insulting foreign passengers, and after hitting a man who was sitting beside her, the Catalonian woman spat on one of the girls riding the train, causing her to lose her patience.
The young woman simply could not tolerate the disrespect and lunged at her, throwing punches. Although some people tried to break up the fight, for a few seconds everything got out of control, turning the subway into a real boxing ring.
Finally, the person responsible for the racist remarks activated the emergency brake to get off the train, but not before attacking another of the girls who was recording the whole situation. In the video, no action by security personnel can be seen to stop the confrontation, and everything seems to end simply when the woman gets off the transport.
The video immediately went viral, where hundreds of people defended the actions of the young foreign woman, assuring that racist acts like the one this woman carried out should not be tolerated.
