There are people who pass through our childhood and, even when nearly four decades go by, we simply do not forget them 🥹.
When Pierre Dupont was a child, he lived with his family in Ivory Coast. While his parents worked, Aisha became much more than the woman responsible for caring for him: she fed him, stayed by his side when he was sick, and was there with him during those small everyday moments that ultimately shaped his childhood.
Over time, the family returned to France and Pierre lost contact with her. However, he never forgot the woman who had cared for him with such affection, and for years he tried to find her. It took 38 years for him to finally locate her.
Pierre then returned to Ivory Coast to see her. When they were once again face-to-face, the tears and hugs gave way to another surprise: he gave her 10 million CFA francs, around 16 thousand dollars, and also arranged a monthly pension so that Aisha would have a permanent income.
According to what he later said, Aisha planned to use part of the money to repair her house and help with her grandchildren’s education.
After 38 years, Pierre did not return solely to thank her. He wanted, in some way, to give back all those years when she was the one who made sure he never lacked anything 🥹.
