For this to happen, the body had to go through something brutal. It is almost always traffic accidents, being hit by a vehicle, or falls from great heights—situations where the line between living and not living is very thin.
And if the person survives, the story does not get much better: the chances of becoming paraplegic are extremely high. Losing the ability to walk, to feel, to move, in a matter of seconds. That is how fragile everything can be. 😔
