“Do you really think these guys are natural?”
Sylvester Stallone posed the question during the presentation of his memoir, “Steps”, at the 92nd Street Y in New York. And he didn’t say it from a distance.

The Rocky actor admits that he used steroids to build the body he showed off in Rocky III. According to him, anyone trying to play a superhero “cannot” achieve it naturally.
He compared it to putting on part of a costume: for six or eight weeks, you visualize the character, maintain it in front of the cameras, and then “take it off”.

Actors, he says, maintain that muscular physique only for as long as filming lasts. Stallone didn’t name anyone. His point was something else: there’s much more behind those bodies than diet and gym workouts.
And you, did you think all of that could be achieved through effort alone?
