Everything around her collapsed… except her. 🙏 Coincidence or something more?
Two earthquakes measuring 7.2 and 7.5 struck Venezuela just one minute apart on June 24, 2026 — the most devastating in the country in more than one hundred years. Caracas was left with collapsed buildings, unrecognizable streets, and a toll that climbed to more than 235 dead, 4,300 injured, and 157 missing. 😔

Amid that chaos, something caught everyone’s attention: a statue of the Virgin Mary with the Child Jesus appeared completely intact among the rubble of a collapsed building in the Venezuelan capital.

On June 25, Reuters cameras captured the exact moment when a group of people rescued it and carefully moved it, as if time had stopped only to protect it. 🙏

For many Venezuelans, that image became the most powerful symbol of hope in the tragedy. In a country on its knees, the figure remained standing. ✨
