The actor shared the story in his newsletter “Lyrics of Livin’”, where he looked back on his life before meeting Camila Alves. He had romances with Sandra Bullock, Ashley Judd, and Penélope Cruz, but confessed that he had always been looking for something more: a companion who would be his best friend, the mother of his children, and his partner for life.
He met her in 2006, and from the start, he felt that this was different. They married in June 2012 in a private ceremony in Texas, and today they have three children: Levi, Vida, and Livingston.
Now, almost two decades later, he wrote a line that quickly spread across the internet: “Twenty years later, she remains the only woman I’ve wanted to date, sleep with, or wake up beside.”
And if you think he’s exaggerating, there’s one detail that confirms it: they switched their huge king-size bed for a queen because he felt they were sleeping too far apart. As he joked, Camila couldn’t be “a football field” away. 😅
