The world of content creators is usually full of divided opinions, but rarely does a statement cause such unanimous and visceral uproar as the one sparked by the Galician streamer known as El Xokas.
In a recent appearance on a podcast, the content creator made a series of comments about the process of colonization and Spain’s influence on the American continent that have struck a nerve in Latin American pride.
“Peruvians look Peruvian, Chileans do too and Mexicans do too… And on top of that they share a fucking language and have universities. They were tribes, for fuck’s sake, and half of them were nomads too. And we advanced them a millennium in 300 years”, he stated with complete confidence.
“They were 1.000 years behind Europe… and in 300 years they became very competent people, they learned to use all their raw materials correctly, to have a language with which to communicate, which is fundamental”, the streamer concluded.
