The Franciscan monastery of Cochabamba, in Bolivia, decided to open its doors to a very special member: a rescued puppy who is now known as Fray Bigotón. The little dog even received his own custom-made Franciscan habit and quickly won over the entire community. 🥹

Since then, his life changed completely. He went from surviving on the streets to running freely around the monastery, playing with the brothers, and receiving affection every day.

The friars consider him part of the family, and images have even gone viral showing him “preaching” in front of the fish in the pond. 😅

Behind the heartwarming story there is also a powerful message promoted together with the group Proyecto Narices Frías: to inspire more people and churches to give abandoned animals a chance and change their lives with love. ❤️
