Streamer Isaiah Thomas, known as “hmbl zayy,” survived a shocking accident on Interstate 40 in Indiana.
While live streaming on day 34 of his 4,828 km walk to raise funds for underprivileged youth, a car hit him from behind after being struck by another vehicle. According to reports from local police and his own testimony on Instagram, the use of a lumbar brace was key to saving his life.
Despite being hospitalized with neck and leg injuries, Thomas insists he will complete his goal of reaching California to found “HMBL University.” The video of the incident is already viral and has reactivated donations to his GoFundMe campaign.
