“I want to apologize to my American fans, my Muslim fans, my Christian fans, to all the people I offended. I went too far, I admit it. I respect you”, Sean Strickland apologized.
“We should set a better example, but we had to sell the fight to you, I love you”, said the current UFC middleweight champion, about his latest fight with Khamzat Chimaev.
Many times fighters are more aggressive when it comes to promoting a fight, trampling over their rivals, fans, and whoever else is necessary to generate anticipation for a bout.
Along those lines, Strickland admitted that he went too far promoting his last fight and for that reason apologized to the public.
