A panther with exposed fangs was walking along the platform of the Jinan metro in China. Its owner was leading it on a chain, as if taking a pet for a walk.
The passengers froze, until someone took a closer look at its paws: each one concealed a wheel. It wasn’t an animal, but a hyperrealistic suitcase with the muscles and claws of a feline. A photo of the moment went viral on social media and divided people. Some asked for the link to buy it, while others wondered whether something like that is allowed on the metro.
Jinan Metro customer service clarified that as long as the sum of the luggage’s length, width, and height does not exceed 1,8 meters and its weight does not exceed 30 kilos, it can be brought on board. However, they asked the owner to take care when dragging the luggage, because its appearance could frighten children and older adults.
