No cell phones. More than a thousand VIP guests. And a secret that not even New York’s cameras could break. This was the wedding of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, both 36 years old, on Friday, July 3 at Madison Square Garden.
Comedian Adam Sandler, a close friend of the couple, officiated the ceremony.
No traditional bridesmaids or groomsmen: Austin Swift, Taylor’s brother, was her ‘Man of Honor,’ and Jason Kelce, Travis’s brother, served as best man.
The dress was by Christian Dior Haute Couture, designed by Jonathan Anderson, but what it looks like is not known.
When it was all over, a giant screen outside the venue lit up the night with a message: ‘JUST&T MARRIED!’. The Empire State Building was illuminated in blue to join the celebration. And as if that weren’t enough, the couple donated 26 million dollars to charitable organizations on the same day they said “I do.”
