He recounted that for years he spiraled into pornography, which eventually led him to a massage parlor in Vancouver, where he was unfaithful to Rebecca, his wife since 1989. He kept that secret for almost a decade, lying every time she asked uncomfortable questions.
When he finally confessed, Rebecca did not hesitate: she asked him not to come home. It was the blow Terry needed to enter rehab and confront his addiction at its root.
Today, more than three decades after saying “I do”, they are still together. Reconciliation did not erase the damage, but it did prove that it is possible to rebuild something that seemed broken forever.
