Norma Dumont threw condoms and bills toward Ailín Pérez during the official weigh-in before UFC Vegas 121. In the co-main event, held at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, the Argentine won by unanimous decision: all three judges scored it 29-28 in her favor.
After the announcement, Pérez celebrated and said she was hoping for a title shot: “I didn’t get to put on the condoms you threw at me; you might be pregnant by me. Thanks for the condoms, but I didn’t need them to make love to you”
Dumont rejected the decision in social media posts and maintained that she had won the second and third rounds. One left with the victory and the hope of fighting for the title; the other defended her own reading of the scorecards 🔥
