Robbie Williams, 52, said it plainly in front of cameras in London: he has just been diagnosed with autism. He had already been living with ADHD since 2006 and with suspicions of Tourette’s. His words were clear: “something I actually love because it explains so much”.

Part of the public applauds him: talking about neurodivergence at 52 helps other adults feel encouraged to seek answers they have carried with them their whole lives.

Another part is skeptical: they say everything has become a label to justify any behavior, and that Williams now uses autism as an excuse for “all the weird things” he does.

Is it brave honesty or a convenient way to shield himself from criticism? 🤔
