Eleanor Brown was 14 years old when her father began cheating on her mother with another woman.
She waited 12 years to make him pay for it. When her mother, Sarah Brown, sent her intimate photos of her ex-husband’s mistress, Eleanor did not delete them: she uploaded them to a sex-contact website, with the help of her own mother and sister. The three women in the family, united by the same grudge.

Leeds Crown Court sentenced her to three years in prison. On appeal, in October 2024, the sentence was reduced to two years. Brown, whom a judge described as “vindictive, selfish and resentful”, said she regretted what happened, but claimed that she did not know she was committing a crime.
