They were in Los Angeles, in the middle of preseason, and Mourinho made a habit of giving them short breaks between training sessions.
That time, instead of going back to the hotel, they decided to get into a taxi and go out to eat. Cristiano took the front seat. Marcelo and Pepe, the third one, went in the back.
The Brazilian recalled that Pepe isn’t visible in the photo because he was hiding behind the seat, but he was there with them. “That photo is wonderful, I love it”, Kaká said.
What united those four stars wasn’t just football. “The 4 of us were very close simply because we spoke the same language, Portuguese. We were always together. It was a lovely experience”, he said.
