Ekkachai and Laksana Tiranarat are the Thai citizens who surprised the world in 2013 by keeping their lips locked for 58 hours and 35 minutes in the city of Pattaya.
Despite overcoming this extreme physical challenge together at a Ripley’s Believe It or Not event, the man recently revealed on a BBC program that the relationship came to an end. During their time as a couple, they received major prizes, including two expensive diamond rings and official recognition from Guinness World Records.
Their feat was so significant that it inspired the creation of International Kissing Day, celebrated every April 13 as a legacy of their endurance and love in Thailand.
