There are stories that seem to come full circle all on their own. Dr. Bryan Cox brought Lauren Cortez into the world in 1995 and, 25 years later, found himself back in the same room at Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, Texas, but this time to deliver Logan James, the son of that baby girl he himself had helped bring into the world.
The coincidence moved the family, because it was not only the same doctor, but also the same hospital and a story that, without too much planning, ended up repeating itself in the sweetest way possible.

In fact, the family recreated the photo from the first delivery and shared it on social media, where it quickly went viral. In one image, Lauren appears as a newborn in the doctor’s arms; in the other, her son Logan is living practically the same scene years later.
And to make it even more beautiful, the doctor kept up a tradition he had already had for decades: singing “Happy Birthday” to babies as soon as they enter the world.

In the end, Lauren not only returned to the place where her own life began. She also brought her son there, with the same doctor who had once delivered her. A circle closed in the sweetest possible way.
