Panettiere died on Sunday, August 16, 2026, at the age of 36, in Greenville, South Carolina. She was found unconscious in a residence, and emergency services attempted to resuscitate her, but she was pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation is ongoing and, so far, authorities have found no signs of criminal involvement.
