Two years later, Vanity Fair sat them down together in front of a lie detector and brought it up. Elle held nothing back: “You were dancing and basically making a disgusted face”. Dakota didn’t deny it for a second, laughing as she delivered the line that sealed the meme: “Yeah, you caught me at a bad time. Totally”.
