With his arm raised and his eyes shining, an older adult recorded every second of the World Cup Fan Fest in Mexico City with one of those cellphones that almost nobody uses anymore. 📱 Someone recorded him, uploaded it to social media, and within hours the video had spread all over the internet.
What nobody expected was AT&T Mexico’s reaction. The company saw the clip, got just as emotional as everyone else, and posted a message that became just as viral as the grandfather himself: they are looking for him to give him a new phone. “Moments like these deserve to keep being captured”, they wrote. 🙌💙
Now thousands of users have joined the search. Nobody knows his name or where he lives, but the image of that man enjoying the match with so much passion has already won the heart of the entire internet. 🇲🇽
