Security cameras at a hotel in Medellín captured a violent incident involving a foreign guest and a worker at the hotel. It all began when the employee went up to a room to deliver washed clothes to the man, without imagining what would happen minutes later.
According to the hotel’s records, the man insisted that the worker enter his room, but she refused and decided to leave. A short time later, the man came down to the reception area shirtless and covered only with a towel, visibly agitated and once again looking for the employee.
The footage shows that, upon noticing there were no other people at reception, the guest began insulting her and chased her behind the counter. There, a violent struggle took place while the woman tried to defend herself and escape the situation. Finally, she managed to get out of the area and ask for help.
After the incident, the worker was evaluated by the medical service, while the man was placed in police custody due to possible intoxication. However, preliminary reports indicate that he could be released, generating great indignation among those who have learned of the case.
