Erin Moriarty, star of The Boys, broke her silence after facing harsh criticism over her physical changes.
Many social media users accused her of overdoing cosmetic procedures, but the reality was far more serious. The 31-year-old actress revealed she has Graves’ disease, an autoimmune disorder that severely impacted her health during the filming of the fifth season in 2025.
“I started losing the ability to walk,” Erin shared, explaining she suffered from extreme fatigue and numbness. The diagnosis came in June, after months of filming while feeling disconnected from her body.
“F*** the ignorance surrounding it,” she said, calling out those who judged her weight without knowing she was struggling just to stay on her feet. After undergoing intensive treatment, she managed to finish the series, which will air its final season on May 20, 2026.
