Someone abandoned him. Someone abused him. And even so, Tsunami decided—or rather, they showed him—that the world could treat him differently. 🐾
This border collie dog was rescued in Venezuela after suffering abuse and abandonment. He received veterinary care, went through a recovery process, and then began specialized search and rescue training.
Today, after the strong earthquakes that shook several areas of the country, Tsunami is part of the canine teams working among the rubble searching for survivors. The same sense of smell that once did not help him find someone to care for him now finds people trapped under concrete. 🐕
Tsunami not only left abandonment behind: today he uses his life to save others.
