The heartbreaking story of María Elisabete Nogueira, 56, and her daughter Cibele Marchis, just 28, has brought the whole world to tears, showing that some souls are so deeply connected that not even death can separate them.
Both were silently facing a fierce battle against terminal cancer diagnoses in different hospitals in Brazil: Cibele was fighting an aggressive adrenal tumor and her mother, at the same time, was battling painful pancreatic cancer.
