Isabel Fernández, a telecommunications engineer, decided to classify people according to what clothes they sleep in.
For her, anyone who wears the same T-shirt from the day or old, torn garments belongs to the “lower class”. The middle class would have several comfortable pajamas depending on the season, and the upper class—the winner of the ranking—would only wear natural fabrics, loose-fitting garments, and replace their clothes as soon as they lose quality.
The post was flooded with angry comments. Thousands of users pointed out that reducing a person’s worth to the fabric they sleep in is not only absurd, but deeply classist. Since when does an old T-shirt define who you are?
