While many footballers receive significant sums of money every time they are called up by their national team, Kylian Mbappé chose a different path.

Since his debut with France in 2017, the forward has donated 100% of the money he receives for representing his country. After winning the 2018 World Cup in Russia, he gave 300.000 euros to charitable organizations that support hospitalized children and people with disabilities.

That has not been the only gesture that has marked his career off the pitch. Mbappé has also refused to take part in advertising campaigns linked to betting houses and certain unhealthy food and beverage products.
