The woman wasn’t going to let Mexico take the field without protection. 🙏 Standing in front of the TV, with the anthem playing and the players lined up in a row, she pointed to each one and made the sign of the cross over them, one by one, as if they were right in front of her.
Her son Eric Ortega recorded the moment and uploaded it with a simple caption: “My mom making sure the team is protected before kickoff.” It didn’t need anything else. The video blew up on social media and has already racked up 2,5 million views. 😮
