Clara Vegas Goetz is 23 years old and has a crown she already knew by heart.

Her mother, Andreína Goetz, was Miss Venezuela in 1990. 35 years later, in 2025, her daughter repeated exactly the same story on the same stage in Caracas, representing the state of Miranda. An actress, model, and performing arts graduate, Clara bested attorney María Evangelista Alayón, from Amazonas, and contestants from Monagas, Yaracuy, and Mérida in a gala that Venevisión broadcast for more than three hours.

When it was her turn to speak before the judges, she did not talk about her own triumph. She said that Venezuelan women are the engine and heart of the country, and in English called for a message of peace, love, and empathy for her people. She will now represent Venezuela at Miss Universe 2026, proudly carrying the same title she once saw her mother wear.
