Kelly Osbourne didn’t realize what was happening to her until she saw herself in a photo.
It was during a fitting for the 2026 Grammys, months after the death of her father Ozzy Osbourne, on July 22, 2025. When she looked at the image, every bone in her back was visible. “I looked like the fucking Crypt Keeper. I thought: ‘This is scary. I didn’t know I looked like this’”, she confessed to The Mail on Sunday. The pain had been so great that, without meaning to, she stopped feeling hungry.
At 41, Kelly attended the Grammys with her mother Sharon and her brother Jack, on a night that included a tribute to Ozzy. While carrying that emotional weight, she was also protecting her son Sidney, just 3 years old, by hiding her tears from him. She now plans to tell the whole story of that process in a three-part docuseries.
