Leonor de Borbón is 20 years old and has spent years preparing for a very specific destiny: to one day become queen of Spain. 👑

In July 2026, she completed three years of military training, serving in the Army, the Navy, and the Air and Space Force. She will now continue her preparation with university studies in Political Science and her institutional commitments as heir to the Crown.

If she one day succeeds her father, Felipe VI, she will become the first woman to occupy the Spanish throne in more than 150 years, something that has not happened since the reign of Isabel II in the 19th century.

Her training broadly follows the path of institutional and military preparation that her father also undertook before becoming king.
