In Dubai, hunger is fought with technology. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum launched “Bread for All”, an initiative that installed smart kiosks inside Aswaaq supermarkets and in some of the city’s mosques.

The system is simple: anyone who needs it scans their Emirates ID and receives fresh bread instantly. No lines, no questions, no schedule — the machines operate 24 hours a day, every day of the year.

Behind the innovation is an idea that supports an entire country: no one should go without food due to lack of access. Dubai decided that well-being is also built with machines that never sleep.
