One photo. One hand. A small ring, almost invisible between her fingers. That was enough for thousands of strangers to decide they had the right to comment on two people’s happiness.
The comments came quickly: that they needed a microscope, that their kidney stone was bigger than the diamond, that they had to wait 48 hours for the ring to “grow”. Easy laughs at the expense of a moment that should have been nothing but joy.
Content creator rriicccarrddoo did not stay silent. He recorded an angry video accusing society of having “brain damage” because of materialism, of measuring love in carats instead of gestures. Because at some point we decided that mocking other people’s happiness is more fun than respecting it — and that is the part that really should make us ashamed.
