The sea keeps surprising us more and more 😱
The strange creature known as the “sea pig” is called Scotoplanes. Because it has little legs, it resembles a pig walking in the depths.
It belongs to the sea cucumber species, so it plays an important role in cleaning the oceans. “It walks” between 5.000 and 7.000 meters deep, searching for organic nutrients in the mud.
They measure between 5-15 cm and inhabit the Atlantic, Pacific, and Southern oceans.
