Nicholas Fortinberry did not wait for the investigation to end.
As Indiana authorities began identifying his wife Brittany, 31, as responsible for sexually abusing several high school students, he filed for divorce. He listed February 21, 2025, as the separation date, requested temporary custody of their child, and sought possession of the family home. They had married just four years earlier, in November 2020.
Investigators maintain that Brittany supplied alcohol and hallucinogenic mushrooms to some minors before having sexual contact with them, and that in one of the episodes, several students wore masks inspired by the ‘Scream’ franchise during an alleged group encounter. The family home was eventually auctioned off by court order months later.
Now, according to documents obtained by TMZ, the divorce has been finalized. The marriage ended on paper while the criminal case against her, with those details that no one forgets, remains unresolved.
