The image spread across Instagram, Facebook, and X with the speed of everything that breaks our hearts. But when you look into the details, something does not add up. No outlet identified the hospital, the rescue organization, or the boy’s last name. Not a single official source. Just the same story, copied and pasted from site to site.
That is where the question comes in: was Max a real hero or the product of an algorithm that knows exactly what images we need to see to feel hope amid a tragedy? No one has fully proven it yet. But no one has disproven it with facts either.
