In a scene that seems straight out of an action movie, 28-year-old Stephen Odhiambo Ouma risked his life by clinging to the skids of a helicopter taking off from a wedding in the village of Rapogi, Kenya.
After unsuccessfully asking the newlyweds for money and transportation, Ouma decided to hang onto the aircraft as it took off. The pilot had to make an emergency landing after noticing the stowaway, who was later arrested by police after becoming violent.
Despite the danger, the young man described the experience as “exhilarating” and claimed he could have endured the entire trip to Nairobi.
