So when an image of a skeleton covered in plates, screws, and metal pins began circulating on TikTok, Instagram, and X under his name, no one hesitated to share it. It seemed like the perfect summary of a life lived on the edge: the definitive X-ray of a body rebuilt piece by piece.
But specialized radiology accounts, such as RayosPedia, reviewed the image and reached a different conclusion: it is not a single medical X-ray of Pastrana, but a composite assembled from fragments of different real X-rays, digitally joined together to create that impossible skeleton. The story of his injuries is real. That particular photo is not.
