UFC president Dana White spoke about the manosphere movement, which refers to the belief that men should be protectors, leaders, and providers in the home.
“I consider myself a man. There is nothing I hate more than men who do not act like men, take responsibility and be a man. If that puts me in the manosphere, I guess I am”, White said.
In a society that has lost the old structures in gender roles, the meaning of what a man should be is no longer the same as it used to be, although figures like White remain rooted in tradition.
