Sabrina Carpenter filed a civil restraining order on May 29, 2026 against William Applegate, who allegedly entered her home in Los Angeles without authorization and tried to open the front door.
Although he was arrested for trespassing, he returned less than 24 hours later and remained lurking around for two hours.
A judge ordered him to stay more than 100 meters away from the artist and her home until the June 17 hearing, when a full hearing will be held to determine whether the order will be made permanent.
