Some criminals use hoods, gloves, wigs. This man had a different problem: his face. According to the headline recovered from Minuto Uno, authorities managed to arrest a thief whose physical resemblance to the Terminator, the cyborg played by Arnold Schwarzenegger in James Cameron’s saga, was so disturbing and recognizable that it became his worst enemy.

The fictional character, created in 1984, is one of the most iconic in science fiction cinema: square jaw, fixed stare, an expression that oscillates between menace and total indifference. It’s hard to go unnoticed in a police lineup when your face evokes a movie exterminator. The story, published in the international section of the Argentine site, does not reveal the detainee’s name or the country where the arrest took place, but the central detail says it all: somewhere in the world, someone tried to commit a crime with the wrong face.

Reality, once again, outdid the script.
