Every summer, Georgina Rodríguez’s body is back in the news. This time, after some bikini photos from her vacation in Mallorca, she decided to respond.
She said she had confessed her fear to Cristiano Ronaldo: “I’m worried they’re calling me fat now, because I make a living from my image”. According to her account, he replied: “You don’t make a living from your image. You make a living from who you are”.
She spoke as a mother of six children, three of them girls who “will one day be great women”. For them, she wrote that a person’s worth never depends on their physique or the opinions of strangers.
Her body, she says, has allowed her to embrace, create life, fall, and get back up again.
