Helen and Kenneth Felumlee secretly married in 1944, and from that day on they built a life that seems straight out of a novel. 🥰 They had eight children, traveled through nearly 50 U.S. states and, according to their family, never slept apart for a single night in 70 years. Even in old age, they still held hands every morning while having breakfast.

In April 2014, Helen died peacefully. Kenneth looked at his family and said just three words: “Mom died”. Fifteen hours later, he passed away too.

Their children always believed that both had stayed strong only for each other, and that neither wanted to imagine life without their companion. Call it coincidence or true love, Helen and Kenneth’s story remains one of the most moving proofs that there are bonds that not even death can break. 💫
