It all started when TMZ published a video of Kate and Prince William shopping at the Windsor Farm Shop in Windsor, United Kingdom, on March 16, 2024.
The princess had not appeared in public for weeks following abdominal surgery, and an edited family photo for Mother’s Day had already fueled the theories. When the clip went viral, thousands of TikTok users pointed to 43-year-old Heidi Agan as the real person in the footage.
Her social media, she said, “went crazy”. She had to explain to outlets such as LBC and TMZ that she was working 120 miles away that day, in the office of a dance school in Northamptonshire. An impersonator forced to account for her whereabouts to prove that the princess was, in fact, still the princess.
