It was the night of September 1 in Plano, Texas, when the fire started in the kitchen of an apartment. Nicole, his owner, managed to get out and alerted firefighters that her cat was still inside. It took rescuers less than 10 minutes to find him and get him out alive.
Theodore came out unharmed, but completely bewildered, with an expression that seemed to say “What just happened?”. The fire caused smoke, water, and fire damage, although the sprinkler system helped prevent the fire from spreading, and only one neighbor had to be evacuated.
