Not everyone dares to cook with a pressure cooker, and the fear of an accident is real. A viral video by Isabel Paiva on TikTok, which has already racked up more than 16 million views, captured the exact moment a pressure cooker on the verge of bursting exploded in front of two young people in Brazil.
Despite failed attempts to release the valve with a stick and then with their hands, the built-up pressure ended in a blast that, miraculously, left no one injured.
According to the Fire Department, the main cause is usually clogged valves due to lack of cleaning or too much food.
