Camille, a PSG fan just 12 years old, dreamed of celebrating the Champions League triumph with thousands of supporters at the Parc des Princes. And for a few moments, she did. But the celebration ended badly.
As she was leaving the stadium with her father, she became trapped amid riots, tear gas, and violent groups. The girl, who suffers from the rare VACTERL syndrome, ended up crying and taking shelter in the entrance of a building while, according to her father’s complaint, some attendees were firing mortars in her direction.
The night left 780 people arrested and 57 officers injured in France. Camille returned to her hotel in shock. Her words summed it all up: “I should never have come. I don’t want to come back”.
